1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Predict.com.ng (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to participate in prediction markets in your jurisdiction. The Platform is currently operating on testnet for research and product development purposes and is not a regulated gambling or securities venue.

3. Test environment

During the MVP period, the Platform operates on a blockchain testnet (Base Sepolia or Polygon Amoy) using a mock USDC stablecoin. Balances and outcomes have no real-world monetary value and may be reset at any time.

4. Account responsibility

You are responsible for securing your login credentials and self-custodial wallet keys. We cannot recover funds from a lost private key.

5. Market resolution

Markets are resolved by an admin oracle (transitioning to a decentralized oracle in later phases). Resolutions are based on the resolution source stated when the market was created. You may dispute a resolution within the 24-hour dispute window.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Manipulating markets via wash trading or coordinated activity.
• Using the Platform to launder funds or finance illegal activity.
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse rewards or referral programs.
• Trading on insider information you have a duty not to disclose.

7. Fees

A 2% trading fee is applied to all buy and sell transactions. Withdrawal fees may apply to cover gas costs.

8. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
